I am a creation. Quite literally, I mean. My name is Rachna - roughly translated as 'Creation' or 'Composition'. Take either one, I like them both.
I belong to the cultural melting pot of India - Delhi. A place I like and admire for the sheer scale of its multidimensional existence. Be it the posh malls in NCR or the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk; the crazy dry heat of summer or the famous winters; the widespread rumor of attitude problem or the equally astonishing stories of helping hands, Delhi holds its charm for me, always.
Having spent my entire school life in the neighborhood sans the occasional family vacations/ school picnics, I moved to different places for work/ study and have enjoyed them all. Eight years hence, I am back, all the more charmed by Delhi and yet all the more intrigued by the world beyond its walls.
I enjoy travelling, writing, cooking, reading, studying (yeah, you read it right!), teaching and what not.
I am, as I began with saying, a creation... hopefully a unique one!
